So far he feels somehow broken. But i need to do lil bit more testing.1st he can be incredibly tanky. Even without moddingexample video:his passive isn't a direct power creep to wukongs defy but close to it.and his stacks increase his DMG from virulence and ravenous (i'll add screenshots).1st ability can deal insane DMG2nd ability is very nice for CC. Well it's not on the same level as MP or Sound Quake but very nice3rd ability can make you highly resitant to DMG or buff your DMG and the DMG of one team mate4th ability grants life reg does decent CC aswell - pretty funny in excavation missions and can deal good DMG too.and as Volfied already said his abilities synergyze super good use Lavra cast Virulence on it for killing/fast stacking. Use your 3rd to buff you if you need to (defensive or offensive).
Or cast Lavra on the area of vicious to deal high DMG. Many options.currently i'm not sure how i wanna build him but he's insane. He is unique as in how he grow. When he ranked up, it's not only health and power.
It's also power strength, armor, and some other. His 1st is very strong. It can reach up to 28k damage in one single line with only Intensify equipped as power strength mod.His 2nd is a weaker vortex. It's used to combo with his 1 so one can nail mutation point a lot.His 3rd, I don't really use it much but when I'm cornered or in dangerous position, it can be used to stun my target and let them take damage for me.His 4th seems underwhelming at first, but it's the mutation point maker.
These maggots infect enemies and you can quickly kill those who got infected to get mutation point, which is a big + for Nidus himself.Mutation regeneration is quite strong as well. The cap is 100 mutation point, and can be easily reached using 2 4 1 combo. Regeneration is stronger than the damage dealt from toxic proc as well, so no more worries about it too.Overall, a solid warframe and resilient too.
Originally posted by:Best post so far. Thank you (all) for the detailed responce. This seems to be my general consensus as well. His infested floor thing makes it almost impossible to die unless you're on lvl100+ i'd like to add that the heal from ravenous works on excavators too.and lavra dosent get remove by nulli globes however it cant grab any enemy inside the bubble cause the LoS restriction and the bubble is treates as a wall.and his passive works inside nulli globe aswell. The durtation of prasitic link and lavra is uneffect by disrupters however the DMG of virulence and ravenous is lowered.
Nidus is a deadly plague for which there is no cure. You must control the strange disease. Release Date: December 22nd, 2016 Epitome of the endlessly evolving Infestation, Nidus bends the vile corruption to his will, mutates his genetic potency to adapt and assimilates his victims with an insatiable parasitic hunger.
Nidus is very ability heavy and luckily you do more damage from using his abilities. The number you see is your current mutation stacks. Hitting enemies with his 1 will add to the stack, and after hitting 5 enemies total you gain 1 stack. As your stacks go up, your stats go up to include extra power strength, up to a max of 100 stacks. Now the best way to build stacks is by hitting as many enemies as possible. This is aided by his 2, which sucks in enemies into a tight group. At 100% effencicy all you need to do is hit 4 enemies and your 1st ability is free.Use your 3 to turn a enemy into a personal bullet sponge by giving you damage resistance and transferring the damage to your drone.
Or you can use it on an ally to give both of you extra damage output. This costs 1 stack instead of energy. His 4 is used to give a good amount of health regeneration, a bit of CC, and some damage. Maggots will spawn from your grass which seek out enemies and start feasting on them causing them to panic. This will add to your mutation stacks, usually refunding the 3 stack cost before the ability expires if there are enough enemies.
Stacks don't add Power Strength per say. Stacks do increase the damage of his Virulence and Maggots, but they have no effect on his Link, and won't increase the health/second of Ravenous, two other things that are affected by power strengthAt 100% effencicy all you need to do is hit 4 enemies and your 1st ability is free.At any efficiency you need to hit 4 enemies to make it free. You get 25% of the casting cost per enemy, no matter what. Also, Maggots will only add stacks when they explode, and since update 19.6, they will only explode when they are hit by Virulence or Ravenous expires. He's a great frame.
Works great on all mission types. His 4 can keep you, teammates and a defence target alive. His 3 is good in a pinch.though personally i don't use it much once i go over 20 stacks. His 2 and 1 are his bread and butter and the ones you'll be using the most. Also nice to note. His 1 explodes the maggots his 4 spawn.
So when enemies swarm in your infested field. Bundle them all together with his 2. Let the maggots feed.
And then hit 1 for a nice explosion. (That scales with powerrange)(Edit)Also once ypu hit 15 stacks you can get killed and be ressurected with 50% health. It'll consome those 15 stacks though. First of all as suggested by other check out how his abilities works.
I'll do a quick run down for you.nidus 3 and 4 requires mutation stacks (the circle with number in it). Those are obtained with his 1 or his 4.Start by gaining stack by using his 1. If you have enough energy, use the 2 first to group the enemies into one place and use 1 on the group. As soon as you get one stack use his 3 on an enemy. (I prefer enemies over Tenno as those are less likely to be running all over the place). It will double your damage and the stack gained from your 1.At 3 Stacks use his 4.Keep stacking as much as possible as his 1 get stronger with each stacks, and the passive will protect you from deadly damage.
Max range, blind rage, intensify(dont personally do - durtransient cuz i like ravenous up). Vitality/steel fiber.
And your good. Also personally i use growing power for my aura for that little umff.Youll almost 100% never need to cast 3 on enemies till like lv 200 enemies. Casting it on allies who arent sitting on ie a defense pod is what you wanna be doing. Allies on a pod wont let his 1 go anywhere and you link to have 2 casts instead of one.You should almost always initially be casting 21re. As you go you can eventually just cast only 1 and 3 to keep everything going.4 should also be up at almost all times.
Step 1: Walk into a room full of enemies and find a loser.Step 2: Press your 3 on that loser. That loser now makes it so you don't take 90% of damage. You can also press 3 on a Tenno loser which will give you a 50ish% damage boost.Step 3: Press your 2 (max range preferred) to get all the other losers into a ball. Press 1 at that ball to build stacks and get energy back. Your loser will also direct its own 1 at the ball which helps in increasing you stack.Step 4: Continue building stacks using above steps. If you are low on health, press your 4 and stay in that region to rapidly regen health.
Monitor your maggots and press 1 on them to make them explode (max range preferred) to hit enemies to build stacks.I personally use negative efficiency (45%), a little over 200% power, 128% duration, and 250% range with the Rage mod. I never run out of energy or health. Hirudo is a massive help as well. Some people also use Steel Fiber, but I don't find it necessary. The ear things show up when you're building stacks. I'm pretty sure stacks increase the damage of your abilities and armor and just make you overall harder to kill.
