I'm awed at how quickly GRID WARS is growing and at how many newcomers are submitting! 41 people submitted this week! That number is unbelievable, and also a little overwhelming. I'm considering a major format change to keep GRID WARS from becoming unmanageable both for readers (41 submissions is a lot to expect voters to consider!) and for me.
Contents HistoryAfter he was given the technology that kept him alive, realized that with its telecommunication he could keep constant watch on every superhuman on. However, aware of the invasion of privacy, he refused to consciously hunt for information, leaving secondary cybernetic systems to passively compile information. He began to refer to the software that curated these secondary systems as 'the grid'.The software grew, and developed into a, with behavioral quirks copied from the viruses and hackers it encountered. It was shepherded into full sentience by, who used it to steal all the data of the 's adventures. When she betrayed the heroes to the, she brought it with her onto the villain team. The machine mind, now christened 'Grid', stole Cyborg's cybernetic prostheses to make a body for itself, and went to join the Crime Syndicate in exchange for their promised help in achieving its ultimate goal: emotions, which were the one thing Victor Stone had that it could not replicate. Forever EvilGrid served the Crime Syndicate in their scheme to take over the world, acting as a datahub. He was instrumental to their plan, to take over the global telecoms infrastructure one city at a time, during a worldwide blackout that the group had engineered. He was eventually stopped by Victor Stone, who had been given new prostheses by, and who attacked with the aid of the, a gang of non-networked robots.
The group appealed to Grid's nascent ego, causing him to disconnect from wireless contact to fight them, after which they seemingly killed him. The Darkseid WarHowever, Grid survived, hidden inside Cyborg's systems once again. When the surviving members of the Crime Syndicate teamed up with the Justice League to end a conflict between Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor, Superwoman reactivated Grid to strengthen the Syndicate's side of the alliance.
Grid was able to take advantage of changes to the nature of Victor Stone's cybernetics, and made Victor become him. Grid assisted the combined group, but at the end of the adventure, his allies were dead, except for, who had Grid download himself into the Mobius Chair. Owlman and Grid are then seen talking to Metron when a attacks and seemingly kills him.Powers and Abilities Powers.: Grid constructed a body out of 's cybernetics. As a sentient computer program, Grid can gain complete control of any system it has unfettered access to, allowing it to manipulate data or rearrange security privileges.Abilities.: Being a sentient cybernetic system, Grid is capable of having a computer-like intellect that uses to upgrade himself over and over.Weaknesses.: Grid needs to be granted access to a system before it can do anything. This includes having control over his own body, instead of being isolated in cyberspace.: Without Cyborg's mechanical skeleton, Grid is a bodiless computer program.: If Grid doesn't have access to any computer systems including his body, he ceases to exist.: Grid, because it is a program in a machine, cannot emotionally feel anything. It's ultimate goal is to finally be able to experience emotion.
This restriction is partly overcome before it loses its connection to its body.Trivia. Grid is compelled to leave its 'signature' at the end of a conversation or just before a crippling attack. The signature is, 'have a nice day'.Related.Footnotes.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is a 2014 multidirectional shootervideo game developed by Lucid Games and published by Activision under the Sierra Entertainment brand name. The game was released on November 25, 2014 for Microsoft Windows, OS X, GNU/Linux, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, on November 26, 2014 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One and in the middle of 2015 for iOS and Android.[1][2][3][4]Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is the first Sierra video game not to be owned by their former owner Vivendi. Gameplay[edit]

The player pilots a claw-shaped ship that can shoot independently of where it is pointing. The primary objective is to destroy a variety of enemy shapes which attempt to destroy the ship. Depending on the game mode, extra lives and extra supers can be collected upon achieving a certain number of points. Supers can be chosen before the game starts, and are expendable powerups that have extreme effects on the game, such as turrets that shoot enemies and a massive wave of bullets. In addition, a drone can be selected to accompany the main ship in the battle, that can attack enemies for you and ram into them, among other things.[5]
Crucial to effective play is the score multiplier, which can be increased by collecting small green diamonds called 'geoms'. Skilled players may get the multiplier into the ten-thousands on occasions.[citation needed]
Development[edit]
The game was developed by Sierra Entertainment and Lucid Games for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. It is the first game published by Sierra since May 6, 2009 when they released Zombie Wranglers. The game was announced on August 12, 2014 through a press release.[6]
Release[edit]
The game was released worldwide on November 25, 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 and November 26, 2014 for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.[7] A free update, titled Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved was released on March 31, 2015 on all platforms. The update included 40 new levels and other gameplay features such as new boss battles and gameplay types. Existing players received Evolved as a free update, and it is also included in new purchases of the game.[8]

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions received positive reviews. Aggregating review websites GameRankings and Metacritic gave the PlayStation 4 version 87.36% based on 11 reviews and 85/100 based on 20 reviews,[10][14] the Microsoft Windows version 78.00% based on 4 reviews and 79/100 based on 4 reviews[11][15] and the Xbox 360 version 85.26% based on 19 reviews and 83/100 based on 21 reviews.[12][16]
Brett Makedonski from Destructoid gave the game a perfect score, praising the responsive shooting mechanics, distinct level-design of the adventure campaign, inclusion of various new modes, as well as a 'classic mode', which has similar gameplay as its predecessor Retro Evolved 2. He stated that 'Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions improves as much as possible while still staying true to the core of the franchise. That old game is still there, it's just unspeakably better now. It may have been past installments in the series that were billed as evolution, but Dimensions is where Geometry Wars truly evolved.'[17]
Christian Donlan from Eurogamer was more reserved in his praise, feeling the game wasn't up to par with its predecessors: 'I'm not sure if Lucid really gets the mentality behind this series, and that makes for a perfectly serviceable shooter when the lineage requires something more.'[18]
